I want to try some contrast colors to create an unreal feeling. Red as the main color conveys a spooky atmosphere, it may make people feel spooky and scared, or perhaps lose their true judgment of things.
Color transitions are a signal in my projects, I make a lot of color transitions based on my palette, maybe it doesn't contain that many specific instructions. I want to feel the flow of energy from these color transitions.
Technology
Ableton Live 11 is a great tool to make music and sound effects. It provides amount instruments in it, and user can combine them freely. I think the instrument that can achieve the psychic effect is the Xylophone. I find that the high frequency of the sound produces more intense fluctuations in my mood. From about 800hz to 2000hz, I felt some tingling, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable and nervous. I used this feeling to make the sound for the video. Ableton Live comes with a lot of instruments for users to create, so I chose an ethereal tone and tuned most of the tones to high frequencies. I added some chords to create some layers and make the whole audio richer.
This is a video project based on Red color and Moon, and it's a special journey to expore emotions in a particular environment.
The color red is personally associated with blood for me, so when I see a lot of red it creates a feeling of fear, excitement, and eeriness. The theme of my production revolves around the color red, and I hope to create some otherworldly state of space.
From the perspective of Chinese medicine, the health of the human body is closely related to the changes of all things in nature. The moon's gain and loss represents the waxing and waning of yin and yang between heaven and earth, and with it, the vitality of human blood is affected to a certain extent. The moon is yin (feng shui, the sun represents yang, yin and yang harmonize), when the moon is in deficit, human qi and blood will also turn weak, although the appearance as usual, but muscle loss, skin relaxation. Compared to other groups of people, the moon's fluctuations have a more profound effect on women. The menstrual cycle of women is usually 28 days, which corresponds to the changes of the moon. Therefore, women's health should follow the principle of "follow the moon".
There is a natural phenomenon called blood moon, and the red moon usually occurs when there is a total lunar eclipse. This is because the thick atmosphere absorbs the violet, blue, green and yellow light, leaving only the red light to penetrate.
Chinese folklore says that when a blood moon appears, it is the time when yin energy is at its heaviest and disaster will strike. I don't think there is a scientific basis for this, but I agree that the color red brings something inauspicious, i.e., triggers some supernatural phenomena.
